London: N. Trubner & Co., 1867-(68). Four volumes bound in seven. First edition, large paper copy. Demy 4to (one of only 50 copies printed, on the largest paper offered). Subscriber's copy, from the library of English lawyer and antiquary, Frederick Ouvry (1814-81), and with his large armorial book-plate on front paste-down of each volume. Finely bound in full green levant, elaborately decorated in gilt in the style of Roger Payne, spines browned, scattered wear along extremities; all edges gilt; gilt dentelles; marbled endpapers; by Riviere. From the collection of bibliophile Robert Hoe III, and with his armorial book-plate on front paste-down of each copy. Also from the family libraries of Americana collectors and bibliophiles Amor L. and Zachary T. Hollingsworth.

A fine set of Bishop Thomas Percy's ballads and romances, subscriber's copy and one of only 50 copies printed on the largest paper.
